American-Slovak Bank

Americko-slovenská banka was founded in 1920 by Michal Bosak, a U.S. banker of Slovak origin, whose signature appears on the ten-dollar note 1907 issue.

The bank's major purpose was to transfer money from American Slovaks to Czechoslovakia. Along with Michal Bosak, other prominent officials were Pavel Blaho, Martin Micura and Ludovit Okanik. Only fragments of documents remain.
