NBS warning regarding the activity of WOODWARD GLOBAL

Národná banka Slovenska (NBS) warns the public about the activity in the territory of Slovakia of WOODWARD GLOBAL, Level 14, Taiping Finance Tower, No 6001 Yitian Road, Futian District, Shenzhen, China 518000 (hereinafter also referred to as ‘the company’).
WOODWARD GLOBAL offers financial advice and investment opportunities (deposits) with high returns. These returns on deposits are promised via investments in US shares, high-yield bonds, investment funds with fixed yields, smart beta index funds and exchange-traded funds (ETFs). The company offers these services via its website http://www.woodwardglobal.com.
The business activity of WOODWARD GLOBAL is not subject to supervision by NBS and funds invested in the activities of WOODWARD GLOBAL are not covered by the Investment Guarantee Fund in accordance with Act No 566/2001 Coll. on securities and investment services (and amending certain laws), as amended (hereinafter ‘the Securities Act’).
NBS warns that WOODWARD GLOBAL has not been issued any authorisation to conduct business in Slovakia under the Securities Act. Nor does NBS have any record of the company as a provider of investment services under the principle of free provision of services.
NBS further warns potential investors that the company is neither permitted to sell its services in Slovakia through any third-party intermediaries.
NBS has long warned potential customers to consider carefully with whom they enter a contractual relationship and to verify the authorisation of such an entity at the NBS web site: subjekty.nbs.sk.
