Basic Information

Issuer is a legal person or natural person that has issued, is issuing or has decided to issue a security in accordance with the Act No. 566/2001 Coll. on Securities and Investment Services (The Securities Act) and on amendments and supplements to certain laws or according to separate legislation.

Within the scope of oversight of the capital market, the National Bank of Slovakia also carries out an oversight of issuers of securities admitted to trading on a regulated market. Issuers of securities, apart from other things, have disclosure obligations towards the stock exchange as an organiser of a regulated market and towards the National Bank of Slovakia as an oversight authority.

Disclosure obligation of issuers of securities whose securities are admitted to trading on a regulated market and persons offering assets to the public, which are stipulated in the Act No. 566/2001 Coll. on Securities and Investment Services (The Securities Act) and on amendments and supplements to certain laws and Stock Exchange Act No. 429/2002 Coll. can be found in the below mentioned sections.
