Centre of Legal Assistance

If you cannot afford a private lawyer, you can use the services of the Centre of Legal Assistance. For this purpose, the Centre will assess whether you are eligible for legal assistance free of charge or you have to pay 20% of the cost of such assistance. The Centre may provide legal assistance in the form of legal consultation, out-of-court dispute resolution, advice on how to prepare and file a lawsuit or representation before court.

If you are interested in these services, you may visit the Centre or contact its staff by mail, email or phone.  Even if you do not intend to  apply for legal assistance, you can request an initial consultation with a lawyer from the Centre or from the list of lawyers providing legal assistance to persons in material need. An initial consultation on a matter may be provided only once; it may not last longer than one hour. A 60-minute consultation will cost €4.50.
