Windowed Thread
Windowed thread – the wide windowed thread is incorporated into the banknote paper for security. It consists of seven approx. 6 mm long metalic “windows” visible to the naked eye on the front of the note. When viewed against the light, the thread appears as a continous dark strip bearing the multiple negative microtext.
