Exchange Rates of Selected Foreign Currencies against the EUR

The Exchange Rates of Selected Foreign Currencies against the EUR are always published by Národná banka Slovenska on a monthly basis as of the first business day of the relevant month. All of the exchange rates are quoted indirectly against the euro, i.e. they represent the amount of foreign currency units per 1 euro. In connection to the adoption of daily exchange rates from the ECB, those currencies which are to be published in the daily exchange rates will be deleted from the Exchange Rates of Selected Foreign Currencies against the EUR.

As of 1 January 2011, the Israeli shekel is no longer listed in NBS Exchange Rates of Selected Foreign Currencies; it was added to Euro Reference Exchange Rates published daily by the ECB.

Since March 2009, Národná banka Slovenska has also published the currency of the International Monetary Fund, the XDR, in the Exchange Rates of Selected Foreign Currencies.
