Historical Exchange Rates
Národná banka Slovenska began publishing daily exchange rates in 1993 with the origination of the independent currency - the Slovak koruna. The first daily exchange rates were published as of 4 January 1993. Later, in January 1996, Národná banka Slovenska also began publishing the exchange rates of selected currencies on a monthly basis, and in December 1998 the three-month and six-month forward exchange rates for the Slovak koruna against the German mark (later the euro) and the US dollar. The last daily exchange rates for the Slovak koruna were published with validity on 31 December 2008.
