Statement from the 6th Meeting of the Bank Board of Národná banka Slovenska

The 6th Meeting of the Bank Board of Národná banka Slovenska was held today (22 February 2011) and was chaired by Jozef Makúch, the NBS Governor.

The Bank Board of NBS discussed the Report on Economic Development in January 2011, which will be published on the NBS website.

The Bank Board of NBS also approved the document "Introduction of SEPA in the Slovak Republic - Implementation Plan, version 3.0". The purpose of this updated version of the implementation plan is to provide a more detailed specification of the transition of the Slovak banking community to SEPA payment instruments in the Slovak Republic.
