Statement from the 33rd Meeting of the Bank Board of the NBS

The 33rd Meeting of the Bank Board of Národná banka Slovenska was held on 29 September 2009 chaired by Ivan Sramko, Governor.

The Bank Board of the NBS discussed the „Situation Report on Monetary Development in August 2009" which will be published on the website of the NBS.

The Bank Board of the NBS discussed and flatly denies all the scandals and charges which were published on 25 September 2009 in the  "SME" daily titled  "Šramko might be a Governor again".
Národná banka Slovenska was, is and will be independent, neutral and professional in all of its activities.
