Statement from the 21st Meeting of the Bank Board of the NBS

The 21st Meeting of the Bank Board of Narodna banka Slovenska was held today (18 March 2010), chaired by Viliam Ostrozlik, Deputy Governor.

The Bank Board of the NBS approved a notification on the issue of silver collectors´ coins in nominal value of EUR 20 with the theme Protection of Nature and Land - Poloniny National Park.

The euro collectors´ coin is minted from an alloy containing 925 parts of silver and 75 parts of copper. The weight of the coin is 33.63 g and ist diameter is 40 mm. The designer of the coin is Karol Lička (sculptor).

The coins will be minted in the Kremnica Mint, š.p. and will be on sale in September 2010.
