Pension Savings Supervision
Pension savings financial services in Slovakia are provided by two types of privately held pension companies - Pension Savings Companies and Supplementary Pension Asset Management Companies, both under the supervision of the National bank of Slovakia. The pension system comprises also the state owned PAYG scheme operated by the Social Insurance Agency that is subject to supervision of the Ministry of Labour of the Slovak Republic.
As of 15 December 2010 there were 6 Pension Savings Companies and 5 Supplementary Pension Asset Management Companies based in Slovakia.
