The reporting obligation for branch of insurance company from another Member State of EU
Decree of the National Bank of Slovakia of 16 February 2010 No. 3/2010 on the submitting of reports by an insurance undertaking from other Member State for statistical purposes came into effect on 1 March 2010.
The reports in the form of statements should be submitted annually on e-mail address vykazyppe@nbs.sk.
The statements submitted by the branch of insurance undertaking from another Member State shall be as follows:
- Ppe(BIL)01-01 Statement of Assets and Liabilities of branch of insurance undertaking from another Member State
- Ppe(VZS)02-01 Profit and Loss Statement of branch of insurance undertaking from another Member State
- Ppe(PTZ)03-01 Statement of branch of insurance undertaking from another Member State on Life Insurance
- Ppe(PTN)04-01 Statement of branch of insurance undertaking from another Member State on Non-Life Insurance
Neither the Act No 8/2008 Coll. on Insurance nor Decree of the National Bank of Slovakia No. 3/2010 on the submitting of reports by an insurance undertaking from other Member State for statistical purposes doesn't stipulate reporting in case of audit of the insurance undertaking from other Member State isn't completed within three months after the end of accounting year, the National Bank of Slovakia stipulates following:
Statements elaborated from preliminary data shall be submitted within three months after the end of calendar year, in written form and in electronic form (in MS Excel by the electronic mail or by transferable storage of data).
Statements elaborated from audited data shall be submitted within five working days after the audit is completed, in written form and in electronic form (in MS Excel by the electronic mail or by transferable storage of data).
