NBS Archives
The Archive of the Národná banka Slovenska (NBS) ensures the administration of written records coming from operations of the majority of financial institutions that have been opened on the territory of Slovakia gradually from the middle of the 19th century. Its duties also include the administration of the filings centre of the NBS.
The employees of the NBS Archive receive, gather, record and search for filed records of all organisational units of the NBS headquarters as well as local offices. Within the scope of its work, the NBS Archive creates archive collections, builds an auxiliary library, and provides information and consulting to a wide professional and non-professional public. The NBS Archive is a part of the NBS Archives of the Premises Department.
